September 28-October 5, 2002
In 1993, Seattle Christian Schools took their first medical-dental mission team to work with the Iglesia Cristiana Congregacional in Mazatlan, Sinaloa. This year marks the 10th Annual SCS fall mission team to work with this sister church. It was from this ministry that Mano con Mano Health Reach was born. Since that first trip, there have been 17 health-related mission trips to the Mazatlan area with Mano con Mano and Seattle Christian Schools.

Please be in prayer for Carolyn and Larry Watson as they plan and lead a team of approximately 25 volunteers to provide medical, dental and vision care to nearly 2000 people from September 28-October 5, 2002. If you would like to help provide glasses, exam equipment or dental supplies, please use the enclosed response sheet. For more information regarding the Missionary Outreach Program at Seattle Christian Schools, contact Carolyn Watson at 206 246 8241 , ext. 1226. Chile Trip, January 2003

In January of 2003, our board member, Donna Davis and her husband John, will be leading a trip sponsored by Highline Christian Church, to work with missionaries in Boca Sur, Chile. It is anticipated that there will be approximately 20 team members working on construction projects and holding a vision clinic. We would ask that you begin now to pray for the following concerns: guidance for the team leaders, unity for the team members, the people they will be serving and the fundraising projects that are planned to raise money for the building project as well as individual funds for team members. A trip to a place such as Chile is a big undertaking, with a lot of personal and financial commitment required of each team member and can only happen through the prayerful support of people like you. Thank you for your prayers and we will look forward to sharing trip details with the Mano con Mano family when we return.
If you would like to donate glasses for the Chile Vision Clinic, make a note on the enclosed response sheet.
